Being a junior college in Navi Mumbai means we deal with a lot of students every single day. The building is right there in the middle of everything. It’s not the quietest place, but it has a lot of energy. We’ve got teachers who have been here for a long time and some newer ones too. Everyone just does their job. We don’t go in for those glossy brochures you see from the big private international schools. This is a place for students who want to get their studies done. The hallways can get a bit crowded between classes when everyone is rushing to their next lecture. We try to keep the schedules on track, though sometimes things run a few minutes late. It’s just the way it is. We have the usual labs and classrooms you’d expect. On most days, you’ll find the staff sitting in the common room during breaks, drinking tea and talking about the day's lessons. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't make big promises. We just provide the space and the teachers for the students who enroll here. It’s a practical place for people living in the Navi Mumbai area. We see a lot of familiar faces from the local colonies. It’s a community feel, really. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep things moving along year after year.
