Dr Joshi Surgical Clinic

The clinic is tucked away in Madhukunj on Tejpal Road, which is right in the middle of Vile Parle East. If you know Vile Parle East, you know how it can get during the rush hour. Tejpal Road is usually buzzing with people. We have been in this Madhukunj building for a while now. It’s a surgical clinic, so things are a bit different here than a regular doctor's office. We have to keep things very specific and the schedule is always tight. Sometimes we are running behind because a procedure takes longer than we thought it would. That’s just how it goes with surgery. The waiting room isn't huge, but we try to make it comfortable enough for the families. You can hear the sounds of the street from the windows sometimes. People come to us from all over this side of town. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR team. It is just us doing the surgeries and seeing people for follow-ups. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The floors are that old-fashioned tile you see in a lot of Vile Parle East buildings. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last patient is taken care of. It’s hard work but it is what we do here at the clinic. It is just a regular place where people come to get fixed up.
