Dr D Y Patil College Of Ayurved & Research Institute is based in the Ayurved College Building over in Sector No 7 of Nerul. We are right here in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, with the 400001 pin code. It is a pretty large building where we do a lot of different things related to Ayurvedic medicine. We have the research part and then the regular college classrooms where the students attend their lectures. It’s a busy spot in Nerul, so there are always people coming in and out. The building itself has been around for some time and you can tell by looking at the hallways. We have labs and places where we keep all the herbs and supplies for the studies. It’s not a flashy modern office building; it’s a place for learning and doing research. The staff and the students are usually busy with their own schedules. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so most people just take the stairs. We have a lot of books and old records kept in the library area. It’s just a place where people who are interested in this field come to put in the work. No one is trying to impress anyone with big fancy words. We just provide the space for the research and the teaching to happen. It is a solid, functional institution for the community here. We see patients too, so it is always a hive of activity from morning until evening.
