Dotline Graphics

Our studio is located in A-103 in Lower Parel, right near the Sun Mill compound. We are a small team that does a lot of graphic design and layout work for various clients. The space is usually quite cluttered with print proofs, sketches, and empty coffee cups. Lower Parel is a very fast-paced area with a lot of new buildings, but our office is in one of the older industrial blocks. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens and trying to get the details right on a logo or a brochure. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the door is open, you can just walk in and talk to whoever isn't wearing headphones. Sometimes we have to stay very late at night when a big project is due the next day. The sound of the traffic from the main road never really stops, but we have gotten used to it. We get our lunch from the small canteen nearby that makes very good vada pav. We have been working in this area since before it became so popular with the big malls. We don't do any self-promotion or marketing. Most of our work comes from people who have seen what we did for someone else. It is a simple setup with three desks and a lot of wires, but it works for the kind of stuff we do.
