Dosti Impex

You can find Dosti Impex on the third floor of Vidyarthi Bhuvan. It’s an old building on Tribhuban Road, and it has that specific old Mumbai feel to it. The stairs are narrow, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s our home. We’ve been operating from here for quite a while now. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We do a lot of import and export work, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and even more tea. There’s always a kettle going somewhere. We aren't interested in being some big, polished corporation. We just want to get the orders right and keep things moving. Sometimes the couriers get lost trying to find the building, so we have to go down to the street to wave them down. It’s a bit of a scramble most days, especially when multiple shipments are arriving and leaving at the same time. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens because we still like writing things down. It feels more real that way. We know the neighbors in the building well, and there’s a sense of community here on Tribhuban Road. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of trading without any fuss.
