Gulf Fashion

Gulf Fashion is on the ground floor of No. 37/ E Kazi House. It is a busy little spot on Dockyard Road West. We are quite close to Mazgaon Circle, so there is always a lot of movement outside. The shop has a big window that looks out onto the street, and we spend a lot of time watching the trucks and bikes go by. Inside, we have rows of clothes hanging up. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the piles of fabric and hangers end up everywhere. The ceiling is a bit low, which makes the place feel smaller than it is, but it keeps the cool air in when we have the fan on. We have a small mirror in the back for people to see how things fit. Most of the people who come in are from the nearby houses or workers from the docks. We know their sizes and what colors they usually pick out. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside during the quiet hours just to get some fresh air. The Kazi House building is an old one, and you can tell by the way the doors don't always close right. It is a simple life, selling clothes and keeping the shop going. We don't do anything fancy, just open up and wait for the regulars to stop by.
