Diya Patel

I run things out of Veer Dhaval Chs, right on the ground floor in room 001. It’s a quiet enough spot in Borivili West, tucked away near Nirmal Nursing Home. Having the office on the ground floor is very handy because I don’t have to deal with any elevators or long climbs when I'm carrying things. People walking their dogs or going to the clinic pass by my window all day long. It’s a small space, but it fits everything I need to get the job done. Diya Patel is just the name on the door, but it’s really just me and occasionally a helper if things get really piled up during the busy season. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I know most of the people on this street by name. The room has a bit of a damp smell when it rains, but a small fan helps with that quite a bit. I’ve got my desk tucked into the corner and some metal shelves for all the bits and pieces I use. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. It feels more like a home office that spilled out into its own room over time. Sometimes the noise from the nursing home gets a bit much, especially when ambulances come by at night, but you get used to it after a week or two. I usually start early before the sun gets too hot. It’s a simple life here, just keeping up with the daily tasks.
