Dixit Transport Co

We run Dixit Transport Co out of 162 Chira Bazar in Pune. It is a small office where we manage all the bookings and paperwork for the trucks. It is not a very quiet place because of all the phones ringing and drivers coming in to get their schedules. Chira Bazar is a busy area, and there is always something going on outside our door. We have a few desks and some cupboards filled with files that go back years. Dealing with transport means things are always changing, and we have to stay on top of where the vehicles are. It is not a glamorous job, just a lot of coordinating and making sure things get from one place to another. We drink a lot of tea here to keep going, especially during the busy season when everyone wants their goods moved at the same time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. People come in to ask about rates or to check on their deliveries. We try to keep it simple and just do our work without any fuss. The street outside can get quite jammed with traffic, which is just part of being in this part of Pune. We have been at this address for a while and most of the locals know where to find us if they need to send something across the city or further away.
