Disha Hospital

Disha Hospital is located at A3 on 1st Avenue in Chembur. It is a place that stays busy from the early hours of the morning until late at night. Chembur is a lively neighborhood, and being on 1st Avenue means there is always something going on outside our windows. The hospital isn't like those giant glass buildings you see in the city center. It’s a more modest setup that fits into the local street. We have a front desk where someone is usually sitting, though they might be on the phone or looking for a file. The hallways are narrow and the paint is a bit faded in some spots. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make things look perfect for photos. It’s just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. We have beds, some medical equipment that hums, and a lot of clipboards. The staff here has worked together for a long time, so we all know each other's habits. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we have to go to the shop around the corner on 1st Avenue. We see families from all over the Chembur area. It’s a lot of hard work and long shifts, but it’s what we do. We don't have a grand entrance, just a regular door that stays open for anyone who needs to come in at A3.
