Dhwani Enterprises

I have been here at Dhwani Enterprises for a while now. Our shop is number three, right there on the Mukteshwar Ashram Road in Powai Nigidi. It is not a very big place, just enough to get the work done and keep things organized. Every morning starts about the same way. I unlock the shutters, sweep the front a bit, and wait for the first person to stop by. Sometimes it is quiet, and I just sit and watch the traffic go towards the ashram. Other days, things get busy and the phone won't stop ringing. People in the neighborhood know us by now. We try to keep what they need in stock, but sometimes we have to tell them to wait a day. That is just how it goes when you run a small business. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, but the fan in the corner works okay most of the time. We have had some regulars for years who just come by to chat for five minutes before moving on with their day. It makes the day feel shorter. I don't really have a fancy way to describe what we do here. We just handle the daily tasks and make sure the customers aren't left waiting too long. It is just me and a couple of others helping out. We deal with whatever comes through the door. It is a simple life and a simple shop, really.
