We are located over at Satyam building on Shubash Road in Jogeshwari East. It’s a solid spot, number 29. If you walk from the station, it takes about ten minutes depending on how many people are on the sidewalk. The machines here are usually humming or clicking away. Printing and technokrafts work means there is always a bit of a smell of ink and paper in the air. We don't really mind it after all these years. It’s the smell of work getting done. We have a few long tables where we check the proofs and look over the colors. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery starts up, but we’ve got that mostly figured out now. Lunchtime is when the office actually gets quiet for a bit. We all sit around and share what we brought from home. There’s a small shop nearby that makes great vada pav if anyone forgets their dabba. The street outside can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on lately. We try to keep the windows shut to save the equipment. It's a practical space. We focus more on the output than on having matching chairs or expensive rugs. Everyone knows their role, and we just get on with it. When a big order is finished, we all feel that bit of relief. Then the next one comes in and we start the whole process over again.
