About Dhawel Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Mumbai
You have to look for Flat No 11 in the Eden Villa building to find us. We’re in Kandar Pada, which is a fairly quiet part of Dahisar West compared to the main stations. Since the hospital is in a residential complex, it feels more like a house than a big medical center. We have a small lift that sometimes takes a while to arrive. The hallway is narrow, so we have to be careful when moving things around. There are only a few of us working here, so we do everything from answering the phone to cleaning the desks. Most of our patients are from the surrounding flats and buildings. They know us by name. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, especially in the small waiting area near the entrance. We try to keep things calm, but children sometimes get noisy in the corridors. The windows look out onto other buildings in the complex. We don’t have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. It’s a simple setup for people who don’t want to go to the big crowded hospitals in the city. We spend our afternoons filing paperwork and making sure the rooms are ready for the next day. It’s just a local spot where we try to be helpful to the neighbors when they get sick or need a checkup.
