Dezine Haus

Dezine Haus is tucked away inside Citi Mall, which is at 156 Andheri West on the New Link Road. If you know the mall, we aren't too hard to find. The space here is filled with catalogs, sketches, and various material samples that we’ve collected over time. It’s often a bit messy because we are always pulling out different colors or tiles to show someone. Designing a space takes a lot of back and forth, and we spend a good chunk of our time just listening to what people want for their homes. The mall gets busy on weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit quieter, which is when we get most of the actual planning done. We aren’t a huge corporation; it’s more of a small group of us who actually care about how a room looks when it's finished. We deal with contractors and vendors all day, which can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. There’s always someone running late or a delivery that didn't show up. But that’s just how the business goes in Mumbai. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the process for the folks who walk in. It’s about making a place livable and decent without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and like the energy of Andheri. It is just where we work and try to build things.
