Devi Udyog

We are located on the 1st Floor near Maharani Estate in Goregaon East. It’s an area with a lot of small industries and workshops, so there’s always a hum of machines nearby. Our space isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We have some heavy tables and a few chairs that have seen better days. The floor is concrete and it’s easy to clean, which is good because things can get dusty. Being near Maharani Estate means there’s always trucks moving around. We have to coordinate our timing so we don't get stuck in the middle of it. The walk from the main road isn't too long, but it can be hot in the afternoons. Inside, we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We don't really have a boss who sits in a separate office. We all just sit together in the main area. It makes it easier to get things done when we can just talk to each other. Devi Udyog has been in this spot for several years. We know the other people in the building and sometimes we share a meal or just chat in the hallway. It’s a hardworking place. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly just calendars and some lists of things we need to finish. It’s a simple setup but it works for us every day. We usually finish up and lock the doors by six.
