Devangi Hospital

Devangi Hospital is located inside Raj Chambers in Malad East, Mumbai. We’ve been here for a good number of years, right in the middle of all the noise and energy of the 400097 area. Malad is a place that never really sleeps, and our hospital is much the same. We aren't a big, fancy medical center with private suites or expensive decor. Raj Chambers is a typical Mumbai commercial building, and we occupy a part of it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense hospital. The hallways are often crowded, and the waiting area has just the basic seating. We see a lot of local residents from the surrounding apartment blocks and chawls. Our doctors and nurses are used to the fast pace of the city. We don't have any polished slogans or a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just focus on the daily task of seeing patients and getting them the care they need. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow or out of order, so patients and staff end up using the stairs quite a bit. It’s a bit of an imperfect setup, but it’s where we’ve always been. We don't spend money on advertising; we just rely on being a steady presence in Malad East. It can get a bit chaotic when it’s busy, but we do our best to keep things moving. It’s just a local hospital for the neighborhood.
