Designer Effects

We work out of 29891 Designer House over in Prabhat Colony. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is good when you’re trying to focus on measurements and sketches. The building is just a regular place, nothing too special from the outside. Inside, we have long tables where we spread out fabrics and rolls of paper. There’s always scrap material on the floor because we’re constantly cutting things down to size. We’ve been in Prabhat Colony for a bit now and the neighbors know us as the people who are always hauling big rolls of stuff in and out of the door. The lighting inside is quite bright so we can see the colors properly, but it makes the place feel a bit like a workshop rather than an office. We don't have any fancy receptionists or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. Sometimes it’s a delivery, sometimes it’s someone looking for a specific finish for their home. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to track down materials that are out of stock. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually a bit messy by the end of the day. It’s just what we do here, and we’ve gotten pretty used to the pace of it all.
