Design Engineer

I've been working as a Design Engineer out of Om Sai Sadan for a while now. This is Flat 302 in Sector-20, Airoli. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a regular residential building in Navi Mumbai, but it fits what I need to do. Most days, I am just here at the desk with my computer and a few rolls of drawings. The area around Sector-20 is usually pretty busy, but once you get inside the flat, it is quiet enough to actually get some work done. I started this because I wanted to do things my way without the typical office politics you find in the bigger firms. Usually, I'm dealing with local projects or helping out people who need specific technical drawings. I don’t have a big staff, so if someone calls, they usually just talk to me directly. It’s more personal that way, I think. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so walking up to the third floor keeps me active. The address is 400708 if you are looking it up on a map. I don’t really do a lot of advertising. Most people just find me through word of mouth or because they live nearby in Navi Mumbai. It’s a simple setup, but it works for the kind of engineering design I handle. I like being in Airoli because it's connected well to the rest of the city.
