Operating a transport business out of Borivali West means you spend a lot of your time looking at maps and checking your watch. Desai Transport Service is based at 41432, and if you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic can be on a bad day. Most of our day is spent on the phone with drivers or trying to figure out the best routes so the trucks do not get stuck for hours in a jam. It is a lot of paperwork too, more than most people would think. We have got logbooks and fuel receipts scattered all over the desk most of the time. Sometimes a truck breaks down at the worst moment or a driver gets sick, and then everything gets shifted around. It is not a glamorous life, mostly just a lot of tea and waiting for updates from the road. We do not really have a fancy office; it is more about the work actually getting done. We have been in Borivali for a while and have seen the roads change and the new buildings go up. It is a busy part of the city to be in for logistics. We do not spend much time on fancy talk; the trucks are either moving or they are not. We just try to keep things organized so the customers do not have to worry about their goods. It is just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. Sometimes it is stressful, but mostly it is just the regular rhythm of the road.
