Our office and workshop are located at No. 35, 36, and 38 on the first floor of Madhu Industrial Estate. We are right on Pandurang Budhkar Marg, just opposite the old Century Mills in Lower Parel West. This area has changed so much over the years, with all the big glass towers going up, but our industrial estate still feels like the old days. At Deluxe Lami Paper Plast Pvt. Ltd., we have several machines running for lamination and paper work. The smell of plastic and glue is pretty strong when you first walk in, but you get used to it after five minutes. Since we are on the first floor, we have to use the freight lift a lot to move our materials up and down. It is an old lift that moves slowly and sometimes gets stuck between floors. We spend a lot of time checking the sheets as they come off the rollers to make sure there are no bubbles or creases. The workspace is a bit of a jumble with rolls of plastic and stacks of paper everywhere. We don't really have a place for visitors to sit, so if someone comes by, we usually just talk to them while we work. It is a busy place, and there is always a layer of fine dust on the tables. We keep our heads down and just get through the pile of orders every day as best as we can.
