Delite Designer Boutique

Delite Designer Boutique is tucked away in Borivali East, over near Jalaram Bhavan on Carter Road. It is a small shop where we keep a lot of fabrics and half-finished projects. If you come by, you will likely see someone busy with a needle or a sewing machine. We are not a big department store, just a local boutique where we try to make things look nice. The space at Jalaram Bhavan is cozy, maybe a bit cramped when we get a lot of new stock in. Carter Road is usually humming with people walking by, so we get a fair bit of foot traffic. We have lived and worked in this part of Mumbai for a long time. It is a friendly neighborhood where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just put our work in the window and hope people like what they see. Sometimes we stay late to finish an order for a wedding or a party. It is hard work on the eyes, but it is what we do. The shop has a specific smell of new cloth and thread that we have grown to love. We do not use fancy language to describe our clothes. They are just well-made items for people in the community. If you are ever walking around Borivali East, you cannot miss our little spot near the Bhavan. We are just regular people trying to run a decent shop.
