Deepak Transport Co

Deepak Transport Co is located right in the thick of things at the Wadala Truck Terminal. We have units 13, 14, and 15 in the Shram Shanti building. If you’ve ever been down Sion Station Road No 1, you know it’s a place that never really sleeps. There’s always the sound of air brakes hissing and heavy engines idling nearby. The dust settles on everything, no matter how much we try to wipe it off the desks. We spend a lot of time looking out at the trucks lined up. Our office is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of old ledgers and spare parts lying around. It feels real, though. We’ve been part of this terminal for a long time. Some days are slow and we just sit around the entrance watching the loaders work. Other days are a total scramble where everyone is shouting to get things moving before nightfall. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the logistics game works in this part of town. Shram Shanti is a sturdy building, but it’s definitely seen a lot of use over the years. We like it here because it’s where the actual work happens. No one is wearing a suit or trying to act important. We just handle the freight and keep the wheels turning. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
