Deep Chemical

Our shop is at 16 Devsadan on MG Road, right across from the Shriji Shopping Center in Borivali East. It's a very busy spot with people always walking past to get to the trains or the shops. We've been in this building for quite a while now. We deal with various chemical products, mostly for industrial or cleaning use. The shelves inside are packed from floor to ceiling with jugs and containers. It smells a bit like soap and bleach most of the time. We don’t have a lot of room to move around, especially when a new shipment comes in and boxes are everywhere. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We keep our records in a big notebook because it’s easier than fiddling with a computer all the time. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving on hot afternoons. People from the neighborhood stop in for what they need, and we spend a bit of time chatting about local news. We don’t do any big advertising. Most folks just know we’re here across from the shopping center. The sidewalk outside is always crowded, so we have to be careful when we’re bringing in new stock. It’s just a normal, hardworking shop in a busy part of the suburbs. We stay open late most days to make sure everyone gets what they need. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing.
