Deccan Roadway

Deccan Roadway is based at 302 Baroda Street, right inside the Steel Chamber in the Makarpura Industrial Estate. This is a very busy part of the city where there is always the sound of machinery and heavy vehicles moving around. Our office is up on the third floor of the Steel Chamber. It is a functional space with a few desks and a lot of folders containing transport records. We deal with moving goods across different distances, and most of our day is spent talking to people at the loading docks or checking in with our drivers on the road. The industrial estate is a dusty place, and there is always a lot of activity at all hours. We don't have a polished front office because most of our clients are other businesses in the same estate or companies that need their products moved. We've been working out of Baroda Street for many years. The building itself is quite sturdy and has a lot of other offices that do similar work. It is not the kind of place for casual visitors. We focus on the logistics and making sure the trucks are maintained properly. The air here is often filled with the smell of diesel and the sound of metal clanging, but we are used to it. It is a tough, practical business and we just do our part to keep things moving through the estate. We stay focused on the schedules and the cargo, keeping everything as simple as possible.
