Deccan Engineering Services is situated in Mulund East, specifically at C/14 in the Manav Apartment on Chaphekar Bandhu Marg. Being in a residential apartment building makes our setup a bit different from the big factories you see in other parts of the city. We don't have heavy machinery clanging around here. Instead, it is a quieter space where we handle the technical and design side of engineering. It is a small team and we like it that way because we can actually talk to each other without shouting over engines. The neighborhood is mostly families and small shops, so it feels very grounded. Sometimes we have to go out to client sites to look at their setups, but Manav Apartment is where we do all the thinking and planning. Our office isn't decorated with expensive furniture. It's mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of technical manuals. We often have tea together in the afternoon and talk about whatever project is on the table. Living and working in Mulund East is convenient, and being on Chaphekar Bandhu Marg means we are close to the station. We don't put out advertisements or try to look bigger than we are. People usually find out about us through word of mouth. It is a simple operation where we try to be helpful and do our work properly without any unnecessary drama or corporate layers.
