Dayglo Color Corp. is based in the Jogani Industrial Complex, unit 8/109, right on V.N. Purav Road, Chunnabhatti(E),. Being in an industrial complex means there is a lot of coming and going of trucks and delivery vans all day long. We deal with colors and dyes, so you might see some interesting stains on our floors or on our aprons. It’s not the cleanest job, but it’s what we do. The area around Chunnabhatti is quite crowded, and the traffic on V.N. Purav Road can be a nightmare during the evening. Our workspace is filled with drums of materials and different mixing tools. It smells like chemicals and pigment most of the time, which we’ve all gotten used to by now. We spend most of our time matching colors and making sure the batches come out right. It’s a lot of looking at samples and checking lists. We don’t have a big corporate setup; it’s just a functional space in a busy complex. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so we all get along pretty well. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the vendors outside the complex gate. It’s a regular, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to get the day’s work done properly. There’s no mystery to it, just colors and hard work in a dusty industrial estate. We keep things moving and try to stay cool when the afternoon sun hits the metal roof.
