Dalia Transport

We have been running things out of 75 Mazgaon for quite a few years. It’s a busy area and the trucks are always coming and going. My father started this back when the roads were a bit quieter, but now it’s a lot of noise and dust every single day. We handle a lot of different goods, mostly just moving stuff from one point to another for people who need things shifted. It isn’t very fancy work. Most days I am just sitting at the small wooden desk checking the logbooks and making sure the drivers have what they need for the trip. The walls are a bit stained from the city air and the fans make a bit of a clicking sound when they run on high. We know most of the people around here since we’ve stayed in the same spot for so long. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so backed up that the trucks can't even get into the gate until late at night. We just keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of phone calls and making sure the paperwork is in order before the sun goes down. There isn't much to say about us except that we are here every morning by eight. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things moved. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break.
