We are located at 44 Dr. R G Thadani Marg in the Worli area. It’s an old building, but it has served us well over the years. We spend our days looking over plans and checking figures. There’s a lot of paper involved, and our desks are usually covered in it. Engineering isn't always glamorous, it’s mostly just sitting down and solving problems one by one until the project is finished. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with old filing cabinets and chairs that have seen better days. We don't really care much about having the latest furniture as long as we can get our work done. Being in Worli means there’s always something happening outside, but once you’re in here, it’s pretty focused. We have a small group of engineers and consultants who have been together for quite a while. We know how each other works, which makes things easier. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to get some food for the whole group from one of the nearby stalls. We don't have a big corporate vibe here. It’s more like a group of people who happen to be good at what they do. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, and we have to stay late, but that's just the nature of the job. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just what we do to keep things moving along for everyone involved. It’s a steady pace and we like the consistency.
