If you ever find yourself in Dadar West, you probably know how crowded it gets around the Atlantic Plaza area. We are in Shop No. 116, right in the middle of Garage Galli. It is a tight squeeze sometimes with all the people walking past our door. Tilak Bhavan is the big landmark nearby if you get lost. We started Infants Gallery because we saw a lot of parents looking for simple things for their babies that did not cost a fortune. It is a small shop but we pack a lot into it. You will see piles of clothes and little shoes everywhere you look. Dealing with parents is nice, they usually have a lot of stories to tell while they pick out a onesie or a small blanket. The traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg is always loud, but once you step inside, it is a bit calmer. I spend most of my day chatting with regulars who have been coming here since their first kid was born. It is not a fancy boutique with mood lighting or soft music. We have bright lights so you can actually see the colors and the quality of the fabric. Sometimes the new stock takes up too much space and I have to move things around just to let people walk in. It is a bit of a mess but it is our mess and we like it. We just enjoy being part of the market life.
