D C M Roadways

D C M Roadways operates out of 1 Kalyan Street, right on the corner of 7th Cross and 7th Main Road. This part of the city is always full of trucks and noise, which I guess makes sense for a roadways business. We have been in this spot for quite a few years now. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks, old files, and a few maps pinned to the wall that have probably seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone tracking where everything is. The 7th Main area is usually a mess during the mornings when everyone is trying to get their deliveries out. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, or the rain leaks a bit near the back door, but we manage. It’s a straightforward life here. We don't go in for big meetings or anything corporate like that. We just focus on the routes and making sure the drivers know where they are going. Dealing with transport can be a real headache with the road conditions and the weather, but it is what we do. If you walk past our building, you will probably hear a lot of shouting about schedules and manifests. It is just how a place like this runs every day of the week.
