Our office is number 255 in the Manek Building, located on P. B. Marg at Grant Road. This is a real old-school part of Mumbai. The building has been here for years, and so have we. It’s a busy place with a lot of different businesses all crammed together. We spend our days handling our accounts and talking to clients who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a small space, filled with old cupboards and piles of paper that we really should sort through one day. There’s a ceiling fan that’s been wobbling for years, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. Most people find us because they know the name or they’ve walked past the building. It’s a lot of routine work, but we find it steady. Grant Road is always noisy, but once you get inside the office, it feels a bit more familiar and calm. We usually have lunch together or go down to the corner for a quick snack. It’s a simple life running a business here. We don’t have any grand plans to move or change things up. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember, and we are happy enough with how things are. We just take life one day at a time.
