D A Transport

D A Transport operates out of a small space at 1 M G Palya Main Road in Andheri East. We are located in the Dsouza Chawl area. It is a very traditional kind of neighborhood, where everyone knows their neighbors. Our business is all about transport and moving goods. We have a few vehicles that we use to help people get their stuff from one side of Andheri to the other, or even further. It is a tough business because the traffic in Andheri East is some of the worst you will find. We spend a lot of time looking at watches and checking maps. The office is nothing special, just a room with a phone and a logbook to keep track of the trips. We do not have a website or a big sales team. Usually, people just come by the chawl and ask for us, or they call the number they got from someone else. It is a very hands-on way of working. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or a flat tire, but we try to be as honest as we can about when we will arrive. We are not a massive logistics company. We are just a small local outfit trying to make a living by helping folks move their things. Dsouza Chawl has a lot of history, and we have been part of this community for a long time. It is a busy, noisy, and hardworking place to be every day.
