Cutsey Trading

We’ve been here at Shamkala on Walkeshwar Road for a good while now. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to some of the busier parts of the city, but we stay busy inside. My desk is right by the window where you can see the traffic moving along. We started Cutsey Trading because we needed something to do and it just grew from there. There are usually three or four of us in the office every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists of what needs to go out next. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird humming noise, but we’re used to it. People often ask where the name came from, and honestly, it was just something that sounded okay at the time. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s mostly just boxes and computers. We handle the trading stuff one step at a time. It’s not a big corporation or anything, just a local place where we work hard and try to get things right. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together at the big table in the back. The 100 Walkeshwar Road address is easy for most delivery drivers to find, which helps a lot. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a simple life but it keeps us on our toes through the week. Sometimes I stay late just to finish up the logs.
