Even though the name says Bhubaneswar, we are actually located in New Delhi, specifically at Hamdard Nagar. Our office is within the Hamdard University area, tucked away in the Faculty of Science near the Department of Biotechnology. Taufique Khan is the name you might hear mentioned around here. It is a very academic environment, as you might expect being on a university campus. There are always students walking by with backpacks and teachers heading to their next lecture. The air feels a bit different here because of all the trees on the campus, which is a nice break from the rest of New Delhi. We have a small office space that is usually filled with books and papers. It is not very big, but we have enough room to get our work done. Being in 110062 means we are in a busy part of the city, but once you get inside the university gates, it gets much quieter. We spend a lot of time talking through things, so it is never really silent in our room. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate to find us, but most people just ask for the biotechnology wing. It is an honest, hardworking place to be, and we have been part of this campus scene for a good while now. We do not have a lot of visitors, but we stay busy with our research.
