Ayeska Garments

Our shop is right near the Abdul Rehmaan Shah Baba Dargah on Sandurst Road. It’s a lively spot in the Char Nal Dongri area, not too far from the CST station. We’ve been working out of this space for a good bit now, mostly focusing on whatever garments are in demand at the time. The area gets pretty noisy with the traffic and the crowds from the Dargah, but we’ve grown used to the hum of the street. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us making sure the racks are full and the customers find what they’re looking for. We don't really do the big flashy displays you see in the malls. It’s more of a place where locals come because they know where we are. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my mornings. Sometimes the fabric isn't exactly what we expected, but we make it work somehow. It's honest work. The shop can get a little cramped when we get a big delivery, so we spend a lot of time moving boxes around. You might even have to step over a few things if you visit on a delivery day. We like being part of this community. It’s a tough business sometimes with all the competition around, but we just keep showing up every morning and opening the shutter. There is always someone looking for something specific, and we try to find it in our stock.
