Crompton Greaves Ltd.

Our place is at A-3 in the Ambad MIDC area. It is an industrial zone, so it is full of factories and warehouses. Crompton Greaves Ltd. has been here for a long time. The building isn't brand new, it has that look of a place where a lot of work has happened over the years. We deal with electrical stuff and big machinery mostly. It gets pretty loud on the floor with all the testing and assembly going on. We don't have a fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. Just a front desk and then straight into the work area. The people who work here live nearby or commute from the city. We have a routine. Start early, get the machines warmed up, and check the schedule for the day. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when a part doesn't arrive on time, but we manage. We are not interested in using big words to describe what we do. We just make parts and equipment. It is honest work. The tea stall outside is where we usually catch up on news during breaks. Ambad is a good location for us because the logistics are easy. We have seen companies come and go in this estate, but we have managed to stay steady. It is just a regular workplace where everyone knows what they need to do to get the job finished. We just keep our heads down and work.
