Down at F-84 in the M.I.D.C. area of Ambad, you’ll find us at Ima Boilers. It’s a big, open shed mostly, because you need space when you’re dealing with boilers. The air is often thick with the smell of welding and the sound of hammers hitting steel. It gets incredibly hot in here during the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got some heavy cranes and old machines that have been around since we started. There isn't much of an office to speak of, just a small cabin partitioned off with some glass that's always a bit dusty. We spend most of our time out on the floor anyway. Our team is a small group of guys who know their way around a torch and a wrench. We don't go for anything fancy in terms of how the place looks. The gates stay open during the day to let in whatever breeze we can get from the Ambad plains. We have our tea breaks out front near the entrance where it's a bit cooler. People come by to check on their orders and we usually just talk to them right there on the shop floor. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We don't have glossy brochures or a sales team. We just build what needs building and hope the work speaks for itself. It’s a gritty, loud, and honest way to make a living.
