Crockery Centre

Crockery Centre is located at Jay Mahal Estate, specifically Shop No. 32. We are right in the middle of Lohar Chawl. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and loud. There’s a lot of energy here though. Our shop isn't very wide, but it goes back a long way. We have stuff stacked up almost to the ceiling sometimes. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big delivery in, but we manage to find a spot for everything eventually. We’ve been here for years, watching the street outside change. The tea seller on the corner has been there as long as we have. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. It’s just us, the shop, and the customers who walk through the door. Sometimes the lights flicker when the old wiring in the building acts up, but we just get on with it. It’s a busy life in Lohar Chawl. You learn to deal with the noise and the dust. We keep our doors open most of the day unless the rain is coming down really hard. It’s just a normal business doing normal work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you come by, you’ll see us moving boxes or checking lists. That’s how it goes every single day for us at Shop 32. We just focus on the task at hand and stay organized.
