Cristal Screen Printers

Cristal Screen Printers is located in Flat No 12 of the Shanti Niketan building in Lalu Andheri West. It is right near the Andheri Telephone Exchange, so it is easy to find if you are walking from that direction. Working out of a flat is a bit different than a street-level shop, but we have made it work for us over the years. We have got our screens and frames set up in the main rooms and there is usually a smell of ink in the air. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of jobs going on at once. Most of the day is spent checking the mesh and making sure the colors are coming out okay on the fabric or paper. We are not a big factory, just a small team doing screen printing by hand mostly. The building is a bit quiet compared to the main road, which is nice because Andheri is usually so loud. We have been here long enough that the neighbors know the sound of our equipment. Sometimes the elevator in Shanti Niketan acts up, so we end up carrying materials up the stairs. It is just a normal local business trying to get the work done. We do not have any fancy signs or big displays. If you come by, you will likely see us covered in a bit of ink while we work through the daily pile of orders.
