Creative Workshop

You can find us at 202 in the Nigos Building, which is part of the Cama Estate in Goregaon East. It’s one of those older industrial buildings where the elevator is a bit slow and sometimes you just decide to take the stairs instead. The estate itself is always busy with people moving materials around. Our floor is usually quite noisy because that’s just the nature of what we do. There are tools laying around on the benches and bits of material on the floor by the end of the day. We don't really have a separate office area; everything kind of happens in the same big room. It’s a bit dusty, and the lighting could be better, but it’s a functional space. We usually have the windows open to get a bit of air, even though the sounds from the street come right in. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just show up, put on our gear, and get through the list. Sometimes a client drops by to see how things are going, and we just clear a bit of space on a table for them to sit. It’s not the kind of place for a formal meeting, but it gets the job done. We leave when the work is finished for the day. There is a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which we use a lot.
