Creative Engg Works Ltd

Being located in Niyaz Chawl over in the Meghwadi area of Mumbai means there is always some kind of noise or activity going on right outside our windows. Creative Engg Works Ltd has been squeezed into the 2 19 spot here for quite a bit of time now. It is a very busy part of the 400 060 pin code, with people constantly moving around and the general sound of the city never really stopping, even late at night. Inside our workspace, we have all our machines and different tools scattered around. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months when the ceiling fans are just moving the warm air in circles, but that is just the reality of working here in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We do not have a fancy front desk or a waiting room for visitors. Usually, if you stop by, you will just find one of us covered in a little bit of shop dust or grease, trying to fix a part that is not behaving correctly. The name Creative was picked a long time ago, maybe because you really have to be a bit inventive to get things to work right when you are in a tight space like this one. We do not spend our time or money on things like brochures or bright signs. Most of our neighbors in the chawl know us by now. It is practical, heavy work. We just take the jobs as they come, use the equipment, and try to get everything finished here in India.
