Countrywide Chem Logistics

Our office, number 1728, is located on Dr. C.G. Road in Chembur. We are sitting right next to the Kalpa Taru Complex, which is a big place everyone knows around here. Countrywide Chem Logistics is basically a small team working out of this space. It’s not a very quiet area because of all the traffic heading through Chembur, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and engines. Inside, the desks are usually covered with piles of paperwork and logbooks because logistics involves a lot of tracking. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers and checking on where shipments have reached. It can get a bit stressful when a truck is stuck somewhere, but we just deal with it one call at a time. The office itself is quite simple, nothing fancy about the furniture or the layout. We usually have some snacks tucked away in the drawers for the long afternoons. Working near Kalpa Taru is convenient for getting lunch since there are plenty of small places to eat nearby. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us making sure the chemicals get moved from point A to point B safely. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the details are correct. Some days we leave late when the schedule gets tight, but that is just the nature of this business.
