Cooking Concept

Cooking Concept is tucked away at 962d/4 in Prabhadevi. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but the locals know the way. We’ve been set up here for some time now. The name sounds a bit more formal than we actually are. In reality, it’s just a group of us who enjoy being in the kitchen. It’s usually pretty hot in there, especially in the afternoons. We spend most of our time prepping ingredients or cleaning up after a big order. There’s always something that needs doing, whether it’s scrubbing a floor or checking the pantry. We don’t really have a big team, so everyone chips in with everything. Prabhadevi is a busy area, so there’s always noise coming from the street. You get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it should. Sometimes we try new things, and other times we stick to what we know. It’s a bit of a mix. The space is small, but we make it work for us. You won't find any plush chairs or fancy decorations here. It’s a working kitchen through and through. We just show up, do the work, and go home. That's pretty much the whole story of how we run things every day. We don't need anything more than that to stay busy and keep the burners going.
