Consulting Engineers is on the first floor of Building No 9 in the Raghuvanshi Mill Estate. If you know Lower Parel West, you know the Raghuvanshi area is a bit of a mix of everything these days. It used to be all mills, and you can still see that in the bones of the buildings. Our office is right there on Senapati Bapat Marg, which is always busy with traffic and people rushing to the station. We’ve got high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light, though the view is mostly just other office blocks and the street below. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly focused on building plans and structural stuff. There are always rolls of drawings leaning against the walls and tea cups sitting on the desks. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working office where we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints. The noise from the road is always there in the background, but it’s just part of being in Mumbai. We don't have a receptionist at a marble desk; you usually just walk in and find one of us working. It’s a busy environment but we like the energy of being in the middle of the city. We’ve been here long enough to know the best spots for a quick lunch around the estate.
