Concept Engineering International

We are located right at Jamalpur Chowk, inside the Fort Sheanshah Market. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a crowded and lively place with people moving goods all day long. Concept Engineering International has a small shop and office space here. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the spare parts and equipment we keep in stock. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We deal with various engineering components and sometimes handle international orders, though most of our business is right here in the local market. The air is always full of the smell of oil and metal. It’s noisy because of the traffic at the chowk, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy. Customers just walk in, tell us what they need, and we go find it in the back. The desk is usually covered in invoices and tea stains. We have a small team of three people who handle everything from sales to packing. We don’t bother with big slogans or promotional flyers. People in the market know who we are and what we do. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, based on knowing people face-to-face. We spend our days mostly answering the phone and checking inventory. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years in Jamalpur and it suits us.
