College Enterprises

Our business, College Enterprises, is at Plot No. 24 on LIC Road. We are very close to the IDBI Bank. It is a good spot because everyone knows where the bank is. LIC Road is one of those places that never really stays quiet. There are cars and rickshaws going past at all hours. We have a basic office setup. It is not the kind of place with a lot of glass and chrome. We have some sturdy desks and a lot of filing cabinets. The floor is concrete and we have a few plants that we try to keep alive in the corner. We usually start the day early before the heat gets too bad. Being near the bank means we see a lot of people coming and going for their own errands. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait it out, which is just part of living here. We don't use any complicated systems. We keep track of things the old-fashioned way mostly. It is a small team and we all know what we are supposed to be doing. There isn't a lot of talk about missions or visions. We just want to get through the pile of work on the desk and go home to our families. It is an honest way to spend the day. We have been here for years and we like the routine.
