Classic Engineers & Contractors

Our office and workshop are at number 12 in the Acharya Industrial Estate. We are in the second block on Mkk Road in Andheri East. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, and the street outside is always full of trucks and rickshaws. We do a mix of engineering and some contracting work when it comes our way. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have a lot of tools and materials stored everywhere. We share a bathroom with the unit next door, which is always a bit of a walk. There is an old ceiling fan that wobbles when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving. Most of our work is done on-site, so the office is often empty for half the day. We use a lot of notebooks to keep track of our projects instead of fancy computer programs. It is just easier for us that way. We have been doing this for a long time, and we know the ins and outs of the contracting business in Mumbai. It isn't always easy, and there are plenty of days when things go wrong, but we just keep at it. We grab lunch from the local canteen most days. We are just a bunch of regular guys trying to make a living and doing a decent job for the people who hire us.
