Civil Engineer

I'm based over in Bhandup West, specifically in Naradas Nagar at Shankar Nivas CHS. It’s right on T.P. Road, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the area. Mumbai is a crowded place to work as a civil engineer, but I've managed to carve out a spot here in apartment E/4. Dealing with the buildings in this part of town keeps me busy. There's always something needing a look, whether it's a small renovation or checking the structural bits of an older apartment block. The traffic on T.P. Road can be a nightmare in the mornings, so I usually try to get my site visits done early or late in the day. Living and working in the same society helps save some time, though. My desk is usually covered in drawings and site notes. It’s not the most organized space, but I know where everything is. People from around Bhandup often stop by to ask questions about their own flats or if they're planning some changes. I don't use a lot of big words or fancy software for everything; sometimes a good old tape measure and a pen do the job just fine. The monsoon season is always the most stressful time because everyone starts worrying about leaks. I try to help out where I can without making things too complicated. It’s just how things are done here in the 400 078 pin code area. I've lived here for years.
