Our place is over in Andheri West, specifically at B/4/5 on 12th Cross. It’s tucked into the 3rd Phase area. If you’ve spent any time on the 2nd Main, you know how it gets with the lorries and the people moving things around all day. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Most of our day is just dealing with schedules and talking to drivers who are tired from being on the road. The office isn't much to look at, just some old chairs and a lot of logbooks stacked on the shelves. We have the usual noise from the street coming in through the windows. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that's the highlight of the morning. It’s a lot of physical work, really. Moving stuff, checking the back of the vans, and making sure the keys aren't lost. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing because there's no point when there's dust from the road everywhere anyway. It’s just us here, trying to stay organized in the middle of all the 3rd Phase chaos. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. Everyone is just doing their own thing, hauling goods or fixing up their shops. It’s a practical kind of life. We focus on the trucks and the cargo, and making sure we don't mix up the routes when things get busy on Friday evenings. It’s just how we get by.
