City Cement Company, Riyadh, Ksa

City Cement Company has its roots in Riyadh, but our local office here is in Kandivali West, Mumbai. We are situated at 529 / 35 in the Kamal Kunj Co-operative Housing Society in Sector-5, Charkop. It might seem a bit strange for a cement company to be based in a housing society, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the coordination and paperwork for the bigger operations. Charkop is a nice part of Kandivali, though the commute can be a bit of a nightmare if you are coming from far away. We spend our hours on the computer and the phone, talking to people back in KSA or local suppliers. Cement is a basic thing, but it is the foundation of everything being built around us. We see the new towers going up in Mumbai and know how much work goes into just the materials. Our office is pretty plain, just desks, some chairs, and a lot of files stacked up. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. We just do our part in the supply chain without making much noise. Most of us have been in the industry for years, so we know the ins and outs of the trade. It is steady work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the cement gets where it needs to be.
