We are located down at 55/57 Nagdevi X Lane. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how tight the streets are. Chunilal Prabhudas & Co (Bom) Pvt Ltd has been operating from this same spot for years. The building is quite old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend our days surrounded by hardware and industrial supplies. There are boxes stacked up in every corner and the smell of metal and oil is always in the air. It’s a busy lane with handcarts constantly moving past our door and people shouting to get through the crowd. Inside, we have our desks where we handle all the accounts and orders. We aren’t a big fancy firm with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find one of us on the phone or checking the ledger. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep going. Our customers are mostly regulars who know exactly what they need. We don't really do any big promotions or marketing things. People just know we are here at Nagdevi. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and keep working by the natural light. It is a bit chaotic and loud, but that is just the way this neighborhood is. We are just a local business doing our part in the middle of a very busy city.
